Fuel pump

Hey guys.. i'm new here.. and i was wondering if anyone has replaced their fuel pump...
Question: Do i need to drop the fuel tank in order to replace the fuel pump or can i access it from the top maybe around the rear seat..

Nope, you must drop the tank to access the fuel pump. Not that big of a deal overall, I would get as much fuel out of the tank as you can to take the weight off a bit. You will have some lines to pop out of clips and just 2 straps holding the tank in. I would get the car up in the air as much as possible to make it easier, a lift is ideal, but ramps will work. Basic hand tools and a jack with a piece of wood to support the tank when dropping it.
