Foglight Installation

What is the best way to remove the fog light slats from the V6 bumper?

Maybe flat edge wire cutters? Once the lights are in, you shouldn't be able to see where they were cut. I've thought about putting foglights on mine.

Take the bumper off and unscrew them. Don't cut them.

Are we talking about the same piece? The V6 bumpers have 3 plastic bars molded into the bumper where the GT bumper fog lights are.
