Dual Exhaust
Anybody have any experience with the MAC Direct-Fit Cat Back system?
It is not a true dual system. It bolts on with no cutting or welding (supposedly) to the existing system and comes equipped with dual MAC Flowpath Mufflers.
I'm not looking for any increase in performance, just better looks and better sound.
Thanks! :usa:

I used to have one. The pros are that it looks and sounds good
, but the downside is it's made from aluminized mild steel :notnice: . Mine started rusting apart and the chrome was pitting. As a machinist I would highly recommend a stainless steel exhaust (300 series stainless is the way to go, 400 series stainlesses can still rust). Although I have seen people with MAC exhausts that had no problems with them, I guess it depends on how humid it is where you're located or whether or not you'll encounter road salt. If you're looking for a better sound, a cold air induction or similar will give you're ride a noticeably throatier sound, also.
