I am thinking of purchasing a used Diablo sport chip for my '00 v-6. But the guy I will buy it from has a '98 v-6. I don't want to pay for reprogramming (because that would put the cost up to what a new one costs), so do you think the programs are the same?

[COLOR=blue][COLOR=blue][COLOR=blue]Sorry, the programs are very different. The chip is programmed for your particular computer code, so you would have to get it reflashed, even if you bought from someone with the same model year.
