'94 Tips and Pointers Please
Hi I just bought my first mustang and my first manual all in one. It's a 94 mustang 4dct. I know it's older and I want to be gentle with her. I would really like to get some tips on how to save my clutch. Common mistakes, etc. Thanks!

Just got to find that sweet spot in the clutch and just pat the gas until you start moving instead of holding it a constant rpm. It just takes time to get used to find a big empty parking lot and if you can find one with a good dip or hill use it to practice on taking off on a slope. That's kinda the basics that I can give ya a lot better than what my dad did for me he just handed me the keys to my first vehicle/manual and said here go to school lol

That's pretty much what my mom did too. Lol. Though I'm a lot older. I checked out a ton of youtube videos as well. There are a lot of things people do differently but your advice is the one I've been rolling with. Using my ears and the feel. I've almost got it down. Absolutely love my car and hope I can keep her for a long time! Thanks for responding
