Question $900 later and no cold ac !!

Took the 98 Stang to shop today, mechanic tested ac, said a I had leak, then said my fan was not working, replaced that, then told me my compressor was no good,so he replaced 2 parts and charged me 900, said I was gonna need a condenser, and something else, but it would be 600, I feel I got ripped off and still have no ice cold ac!! Help please!

Good morning, after reading all the posts regarding your problem, you should take the stang to a professional radiator/ac shop. I would suspect that air got into the system when your mechanic replaced the radiator, but the low coolant sensor is another etc. Hopefully you get it repaired and then get some money back from the mechanic who just started throwing parts at it with no idea what was wrong. Let us know when it is repaired. Good Luck

The mechanic is a jerk, and refuses to help, unless I give him another 600,it's so hot here in Florida, and my power windows are not working,so I'm really upset

There is a couple things, a/c compresser doesn't kick on due to a bad relay. They didn't charge the a/c. A r134 leak due to damage to the hoses. The mechanics should of found the issue quickly. If you spent that much and still the same bad a/c, sounds like they don't know what there doing.
