'04 V6 fog lights question

My V6 front bumper has three bars that go where the fog light would go.

Does anyone know if the the fog lights that American Muscle sells will fit?

No. Because there are three bars. I do think there is a wiring for the fog Bligh's on the v6's. I mean it can be done. Just a bit of work and knowledge.

Using these lamps including the mounting brackets, yes.

When I had my 1999 Mustang V6 I added the factory original fog lamps with no problem. All you do is cut off the slim painted bars in the fog lamp opening. Then you mount the fog lamps with it's brackets to the screw tabs already molded into the bumper cover. Two screws at the top of the bracket and one on the bottom.

Some of the factory wiring with the connector that plugs into the back of the factory fog lamp switch is there in the console near where the switch mounts. However the wiring to the lamps is incomplete in the engine compartment. I used a universal fog lamp wiring harness with relay and fuse holder from the auto parts store and wired the whole thing using a factory fog lamp switch mounted on the center console in place of one of the oval coin holder switch blanks. I remember tapping into the unused factory fog lamp switch connector which is live and will supply the voltage to activate the relay when the switch is turned on and will illuminate the switch when the headlamps are turned on.

My 1999

Wrong... you cut the bars off and discard them...

The GT bumper is exactly the same as the V6 with the bars removed from the fog lamp openings. When you look up replacement bumper covers they always show a "specific" one for the GT with the bars already removed from the fog lamp opening. However all bumper covers have the mounting holes and tabs for the fog lamp brackets.

V6 bumper cover with the fog lamp bracket mounting tabs/holes...
