No offense, but just curious if there is another website that is more inline w/ the Fox-body Mustangs/5.0's. I love this website for the 05 and newer info/discussions, but it seems pretty slow for the older cars.

Corral.net use to be pretty busy. Stangnet stays busy as well, but it is kind of like the kindergarten of the mustang world.

The fox talk has dried up even on this site in the last few months. And for the record, the 5.0 will never die.

My local site/club is loaded with 5.0s.

 

There's still plenty of 5.0 guys and girls around, just not as much to discuss as with the S197 cars. As Scott said, the Fox will never die!!

 

I've been out of town....but compared to the Corral or Stangnet I'd take a slower paced site like this with more quality than deal with some of the garbage I have seen on other sites.....quality is better than quantity

 

i agree, there just not as much new stuff to talk about as with the 05+ and this was founded as an 05 dedicated site anyway. i like being able to come and chat about our cars w/o the unneccessary foul language and stupidness

 

streetstangs.net good guys over there....theres like 3 of them i would consider experts and about 10 more that know thier Sh@$ and those are just the ones who post reg. i use that site more often.....and i consider myself a 5.0 guy....car that sparked my interest and now i have done so much research on parts and such that i have an answer and opnion on just about everything

hey guys, im new here and im a big fan of the fox body , especially the 87 to 93's, i own an 88 5 litre with light mods that has been very reliable and good to me in a few races. i also vouch for that guy who said the fox will never die!

Welcome to the site man, and as stated earlier its about quality over quantity here. Ask a question and you get some real intelligent answers, not like some of the half-baked crap you find on other sites. [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumb.gif[/img]

I'm a die hard V8 guy, I used to be a complete biast Ford V8 or go home kinda guy (when i first joined) but that attitude wasn't getting me anywhere so we've all calmed down and we only post in this section when we have real issues anymore, the 05 section is one of those "My power seat won't go back or forth, what could be the problem?" Me- "operator" Theirfore i don't post in that area too often, lol.

thanks man, as soon as i get a scanner ill post some pics and ill definitely have some questions because i am planning to start modding it soon and to restore it.
