Wheel wells

I sold my 93 lx and swapped the wheels and tires to my 90 notch but the fronts rub when turning and they didn't on the 93, they are 245/50/16. Are the wheel wells larger on the 93 than the 90?

From '91-'93. Front fenders are different due to the "Pony wheels". Could swap fenders or "trim to fit" + later style extensions.
