1989 5.0 LX Sport Sedan, 114,000 miles, auto, never abused or raced. I've owned this car since new, original owner.
Some rust on doors, rockers, trunk lid, left front fender.
I have new doors, new fender.
Air and heater work.
Good work and winter car.

Thinking about selling this car, as a really sweet deal on a 1990 '7up' convertible just came my way. It's got about 80k highway miles on it, but never been through a winter.

Anyway, can I get some opinions on what I should ask for my '89?

I'm guessing no more than $5000 for sure, probably less.

Coupes are rare foxes, but due to auto tranny and body condition, I would probably say $4K for a hassle free sale. Even more so if it has red interior.

Your still doing good at $3k or $3500.

 

i'd have to say 3k tops just b/c of auto and body condition. but if you hold out for the right person you might get more.

 

Its Spring, somebody will get the itch and pay $3k+

 

$3,000 should be fair price knowing that the car is 19 years old.

 

If you were in California you could easily get $4,000 for that. People around here pay ridiculous amounts for Foxes.

 

same here in New England, but it is an auto and if the body has some issues, it definitely puts it on the low end of the scale..but, you never know..

i'd say $3500

 

$4K shouldn't be too hard if you've got the patience to wait for someone to pay that much.

$3K would be a pretty quick sale

and PS, i gotta ask, am I the ONLY person that likes porno red interiors?? Seems like it most of the time

I really don't see what's wrong the the red. It's not my favorite, but I don't hate it. Wish this car were a lot closer to me. I might take it.
