What size tires to use on 18 inch cobra r's
If you lower the car you will only be able to run a low series tire. Sizes such as 245/40/18 or 245/35/18 (if they even make them that size). As for the width that depends on your rims. They might be too wide so be sure your rims will clear a lowered car before you get springs.

I don't know about the 93's but I have a 90 GT Vert with the Eibach Pro Kit. I have Y2K Cobra R's which are 18X9 and I run a 235/40/18 in the front and a 245/40/18 in the rear. IMO a 9 inch rim is too wide for the front as I can't get a tire larger than a 235 to fit. The 235 is actually too small for a 9 inch wheel as it doesn't quite come to the edge of the rim leaving it open to curb damage. I plan to switch to an 8 inch rim on the front if I can find one.

I think ours has 9" wheels all around and when we turn sharp the rim will grind on the A-arm. If I ever get some 5 lug chrome 95 Cobra Rs I will have an 8" up front and 9" out back.

Exactly why an 8 inch wide rim is the limit on the front of a Fox body stang. 18X8 with a 235 series tire on the front and 18X9 with a 245 series tire on the back with the stock quad shocks. Now if you flip the quad shocks you could probably go as large as a 265 series tire. I plan to find out if this is true this spring.
