ok i'm lookin at a set of heads that say there should be no valve piston clearance problems at 220 degree duration at .050 but the cam i am lookin at and want has 224 degree at .050 is there anyway i can keep my same plan and not have valve/piston clearance problems?

Not to put down this forums in any way, but check out http://www.streetstangs.net I am sure the guys over there can answer your questions. I believe you can run the afr 165's and a b cam without any valve / piston contact.

if you are using the AFR heads w/ the B303 cam you will be fine. according to compcams with stock pistons and the AFR heads aslong as your cam stays at .512 lift and lower you wont have any clearance problems.
