I know of ford useing v 6 in some of the early 80-82 foxes but what a bout an 85 auto? or a 93 3.8 5 speed? i argued with a guy today at the car lot about a 93 and didnt pop the hood then later on i checked out an 85 coupe that awas an auto and sure enought the thing had a 3.8 ? i was confuseed hel me out somebody

There were no 6's from '87-'93. And yes, there were 6's in the 80's (thru '86). All this info can be found on the mustang source timeline.
