transmission suggestion

application:

1992 GT
modded motor with 425 flywheel horsepower
and 390 flywheel ft.lbs. of torque

it has to be a manual

thats the exact one i was gonna buy lol.....just wanted to make sure it was my best choice.

If you can find one used in good condition, I would go with a tremec 3550. They dont make them any more, but they were less problematic than the newer tko 500 and tko 600 trannys from my understanding.

That's what I have heard as well, the 3550 was a good transmission.
