can anyone tell me if i would have to change the input shaft on a t5 tranny out of a 95 gt to make it work in a 89 GT?

I'm pretty sure the answer is no, you wouldn't have to change it. But maybe somehere with more knowledge can verify. Sorry I'm not more help...

Im not positive either but Ive heard that you had to. Dont take my word for it though. Just giving another opinion. Sorry I cant help either. Wheres all the help at in this place ?!?! :P

The input shaft is longer and will not work. You either have to change out the input shaft or use the bellhousing from the 95 Mustang....doing this will move your shifter back a little bit.
