Ticking noise

I get a loud ticking noise sounds like coming from the drive train after I spin the tires and it keeps ticking for the duration of driving the car but, then if I do another burnout or spin the tires somehow again it goes away and visa versa. Any ideas?

Gonna need more info, right now it is like looking for a thin needle in a hay stack. Do you have a general idea where the nosie is coming from, like the front, middle or rear?

If it does it after a burn out it could be in the rear end but again need more enough to even try and help. Keep in mind we are limited on the web with some stuff.

Sounds like its coming front the tranny area but really hard to tell. I can't figure out why only after a burn out and then it will go away if I do another. Makes me think it's the rear end as well. I do get a loud clunking noise repeated a few times when applying the brakes to a stop.

Noises are hard enough to diagnose sometimes with the car in front of you, let alone to try and figure it out over the web.
Try and get as much info as you can. The noise is it speed related to engine RPM or Drivetrain Speed related... Does it do it at low speeds or highway speeds or both... Try to isolate the area ... Have someone walk beside you while coasting if possible... Also will it make the noise in reverse..?

Just a shot but take your rear wheels off and inspect the brakes / and components .... U joints and raise the rear end up ( wheels of the ground) in neutral and check the play in the driveshaft ( quick way to gauge rear end back lash )
