STOLEN!!! My old 88 LX in South Carolina

ANYONE who spots any parts for sale or the car in South Carolina please let me know! This car was stolen last night in Charleston, SC. The car has Lojack but that hasn't paid off yet and the thieving bastards know it has Lojack because of the list of parts on the dash as the car was for sale by the current owner...a friend of mine.

The car has a Vortech Supercharger, Art Carr Automatic, 13" brakes, Cobra Rs, etc, etc. I can and will identify parts if need be as I can identify every part on that car. The seats are one-off so if ever seen anywhere the person with them is going straight to jail. There are a few other unique parts on the car as well.

The VIN # is 1FABP41E8JF240164. Although it's no longer my car, I take this just as personal since I have all my sweat into it and I owned it for 14 years. Please keep your eyes out and help if you can...keep an eye on Ebay and other for sale forums as well and help stop these theives. The next car could be yours so catching these guys makes it safer for everyone else.

Here is the car:

They need to increase the penalty for GTA's in this country, most get off with just a slap. So Sorry about the car

I park my daily driver in front of the garage my '65 is in...so they would have to steal both cars, plus jumps start the '65 in order to steal it. (which jump starting it be very difficult cause its a single car garage pulled in front first.)

Hearing this kind of thing always makes my stomach knot. I'll try to keep an eye out on ebay for the parts, or the whole car if they're dumb enough to try that.

Lo Jack does have a guarantee but the current owner(prior to the theft) never transferred it into his name so I am pretty sure that would be a clause for them not to honor it.

Good luck finding it. Looked like a sweet car. I'll keep an eye out up here.

Makes me nervous about finishing my '83.

BTW, what color blue is that? (need paint code or name if you know it) I've been thinking about repainting with a med/dark blue instead of the dark red I have now.

That is a custom mix color so there is no code. A friend and I mixed it up starting with the base color of Liberty Blue from a '91 Isuzu and then we added Violet pearl to it. I did write down the formula but I have no idea where it is anymore....I may have given it to Joe when I sold him the car and knowing him it's probably in the glove box so the thieves now have the formula too.

Nice car. Apparently they felt that way as well. Hope they're caught, drawn, and quartered.
