I'm just wondering about the speaker sizes that can be installed in a 1984 Mustang L hatchback. I'm hoping someone would know so that I won't have to remove the dash to measure it.

I'm also curious about whether a in-dash DVD video system could be installed because the radio seems to be a bit too far back to allow the screen to fold out.
so has anybody any info about this??

3"1/2 are the speakers on the side,(6x8or 5x7) in the hatch area, dont put a speaker in the ceter of the dash, its a waste. A in-dash dvd system will fit in there after you cut out where the ***** of the radio sit now. Also I recomend getting a stereo kit.

To cut out the where the ***** went all you have to do is center the new stereo bracket, trace the outline and cut it out using a dremel or hack saw.
