how i wish this was in California. the 82 GT was already the hottest fox ever, but now?

i want this car

EDIT: hate to go off topic in my own topic, but does anyone know where one can procure a repo 82 GT front end? as in, if one were to try and emulate the look of an 82 GT on say, an 89 LX 5.0? just wondering, as i can only find 83 and up bumper covers at most mustang specialty sites...

Wow, that is in excellent condition for a 23 year old car. There's not too many 82 GTs left in that condition.

wow, nice find Arin, that thing is darn sweet. My first fox was a 82 GT rustbucket that ran down a couple of 96 Camaro SSs when I had it (and put on a Holley 650).

Mine was Black over red with t-tops and cloth interior. That 4 speed has real wide gears and is almost idiot proof. I ground the heck out of those gears and it never gave any problems. I'd really like to have that one, but I'd swith out that tacky steering wheel, lol.

they need money, bought an 05, or just dont want it, or it is giving them trouble

on another note, the 82 gts were dogs, and i like the 85-86 nose much better, but those 82s in red with some nice wheels (I HATE metrics) look gorgeous

Arin, it is really cool how u love those 82 gts so much and everyone else hates 80s mustangs, it is cool that u r so enthusiastic about them

FR200-

Just remember back in 1982 the GT's weren't 'dogs' they were pretty stout performs for having a 157hp 2bbl 302.

I would love to own one all stock!

then they werent, but even in the 90s they were pretty slow. i would take a 86 gt over that anyday, especially with SEFI

Black is gorgeous, but hard to keep clean, and red oxidizes. (i know someone will spell check me on that ) that is a very clean car, and thinking about what jason said, imagine in 30 years when we are talking about them awesome 03 cobras an dpeople say ha ha, only 12s? only 390hp? what a joke. thats when the basic V6 pickup has 1100hp and 1500ft lbs lol, very nice car.

i found two in my area, one all black but alot of mods. i cant know for sure that everything eas done right.

another, a bit less, needs paint, but it has T tops and a powerdyne s/c. again, i dont know how good build quality was for those mods. but who cares, i wanna swap for a 5.8 anyways

I think stock they had like 250 ft lbs of torque, even though Hp numbers were real low.
