Really? That simple?
Ok guys, so last weekend i went to the drags, had lots of fun but in one run my timing went from 12initial to 19. And this caused fire on the carburetor area. Everything was fine after fire getting put out. Ufffffff... Anyways, so after this i had a very very bad surging issue and a looooud hissing noise. Vacuum leak. So today i took my holley 600hp out cleaned the carbon on the blades from little fire and sprayed carb cleaner everywhere, cleaned it trough very well. Put it back in set my timming at 12. And she starts no problem no surge no backfire no timming problem. Better than new i should say.... Im i ok here? Now i feel like the hissing still there but it might be my head getting to worry about the incident, im sure you guys would 2 lol lol.... So what im asking is, timming jumped? Causes? Thanks.
