Absolutely SWEEEEET...........................
And a 4 popper to boot

I wonder how hard would it be to turbo an existing 4 banger

What do you mean by existing? An old N/A 2.3 or a new 4 banger. It is not that hard. Even if you make a custom kit it is just time consuming. Hey, I made 300 posts!

Your right it most likely easier to buy the dream than build it..

Yah, lol. If I were to do a turbo I would use a DSS 306 in a SVO body with twin 76mm turbos! that is a cheap SVO, wow.

Yea here's yet another.

I would hate to do that much to my 93 and only be thought of as a clone .
Rather I would like it better to just have a second one in a seperate catigory. Thus if I took two cars to the car show I would stand a chance of two trophys in the same show. Now that sounds even better.

Gonna, keep my eyes open at the impound auctions tho.
Ya just never know what people will over look

Sweet!!

I like how quiet she is in the staging lane. The calm before the storm.

Then you would not have an SVO....you would have a cookie cutter 5.0 Mustang with twin turbos. By saying that I can pretty much say with 100% certainty that you have never actually driven an SVO....because if you had driven one and understood the balance of the car then you would know that putting a V8 in it would turn it into a nose heavy pig

Actually harder than people will lead you to believe since you have to take compression into account....the SVO engine has factory Forged pistons, and a different head and compression ratio. You CAN turbocharge an N/A 2.3 but don't expect it to live under the same abuse the factory 2.3 Turbo engine will take

I just wanna 1/4 mile killer. I don't care about handling. The SVO looks nice, and I would compliment it with a powerhouse for a motor. Then bolt up a C-4 and a 9 inch rear.

Then take a standard Mustang and bolt on the reproduction SVO Parts....why ruin and kill a limited production car when all you want is the exterior look?!?

Im leaning towards both sides, the fact that it is beautiful the way it is, plus the constant need for more power, i dont know. Im neutral.

Depends on situation.I've seen many collector cars in salvage yards from accidents/theft recoveries. I feel use parts on your modified muscle car if desire. If have a mint rare car, svo, capri rs cobra r and want a modified I'd say sell the car and build what you desire or add mods but keep original parts if ever want to sell or convert back to original. A true hobby car usually goes through many changes/owners in its lifetime.
