i think you are mistaken, (i love to prove authority wrong
) Remember the 78 King Cobra II?
Read his post again...."OTHER than during the Mustang II era"
and for the record that is NOT a King Cobra...not even remotely close...remember Google can be your friend
Here is a King Cobra(found in less than a milisecond using Google)
Whoops, i didnt no the King Cobra and cobra were 2 different cars, i dunno much about the IIs , i am learning. Its a cobra though isnt it and from Scothews post it sounded like he didnt think their were mustang II cobras, sorry for the mistake but everyone makes them.
It doesn't matter....the car you posted isn't even a Cobra II.....The Cobra II and King Cobra ONLY came in fastback form and the one you posted is a coupe. A snake emblem doesn't make it a Cobra...just like if I slapped a Snake emblem on your forehead it wouldn't make you a Cobra either
Nothing wrong with making mistakes but you tried to call someone when you didn't have the knowledge...so you got called on it....do your homework

i figured it was a cobra from the huge snake on the fender. o well, i guess i need to read up on the mustang IIs I know alot more about forced induction and SN95 cars as well as FOX mustangs, I have no idea what the difference between the normal Ii and Cobra Ii and king Cobra II is, not many people publish anything about these cars in magazines I read (MM&FF, 5.0 Mustang)
PS- What do you call a 13 year old who spends half his allowance ons tang magazines? Redneck or obsessed or?
Thanks for the clarification everyone, i dont mean to misinform, it is a learning process....... Paul, feel free to gimme a snake emblem, i will hang it around my neck on a chain

The easiest way to differ regular II hatchback from Cobra II is by Cobra stripes. Cobra have racing stripes, regular hatchback don't. King Cobra is easy to recognize because of big logo on the hood and front bumper.
Regular hatchback:

Cobra II:

King Cobra:

Smart buttedness increases when one has to constantly police those who speak of which they have no experience or "nollege"
Since the message had not gotten across before it seemed that a little more emphasis needed to be exercised. It's all well and good to be an enthusiast and desire to learn but entirely another to mislead others with your own misled thoughts

No, that wouldn't bother me....because you would be doing it out of respect for the site and the use of language that does not fall into the category of profane or poor taste like I did. Rather than say the obvious I used that word to get the message across without the use of that 3 letter word that the language filter would pick up. You understood what I meant did you not?
think about "butt" and what 3 letter word would be equal to that.. also part of the name of a donkey.
