While I wait and pony up the money for 17" Pony Wheels or 93 Cobra wheels on my 90LX, I have 87-89GT wheels (came with) on the car and recently painted them graphite grey (matches wellwith burgandy body) also painted the center caps but not too fond of them. My question is; Will pony center caps fit on 87-89GT wheels since they appear more flat than the bulbous center caps I have now. I know there aren't many fans of the turbines but they have kind of grown on me only wish there were 17"s though.

 

I can't say for sure whether the pony caps will fit them but I did run a set of caps off of the old TRX wheels on my 87 GT turbines for quite awhile. Looked good, flatter style aluminum cap (not plastic) with exposed lugs. I liked the look alot better than the stock soup bowls. They were snug going on...had to gently persuade them but fit nicely like they belonged there.

Thought I would mention it in case you run across a set...really did look good.
