Opinion/Advise on Car Purchase
I'm looking for a winter car to keep for the next three years. This 89 GT is available in Apr 09. I don't know squat about this, so any input/advise is appreciated. He's asking $3K, but will probably come down a little.
1989 Mustang GT
Original Short Block (85k mi/unsure if original miles)
GT40 heads
BBK cold air intake
BBK shortie equal length headers
E303 camshaft
New timing chain
Flowmaster catback
It was converted from Auto to T-5
Aftermarket clutch quadrant
Double hook style 70MM
Professional Products throttle body
Professional Products EGR spacer
Chassis is in very good shape. The body is faded and the clearcoat is flaking off in spots.
Parts not installed on the car that come with car:
BBK off-road h-pipe
93 Cobra heater piping, mounts to intake, does not route antifreeze to the EGR spacer
Stock E7 heads
Stock camshaft
Also have an almost complete 5-lug conversion.
Parts Needed for 5-lug conversion:
It needs front calipers from an SN95 (already have the SN95 spindles), brake hoses, hard brake lines from master cylinder to distribution block, rear proportioning valve, rear parking brake cables, brake pads, rear caliper mounts. Have everything else.

Personally, I wouldn't buy a manual conversion car or one with so much aftermarket stuff on it.
Too often you are buying somebody else's problems.
How well do you know the guy? That would be a big factor in my choice.
