Cool New Cobras!!

I got my new wheels today!! They're 17x9 chrome '95 cobras wrapped in YK520 Yokohamas!!!! And they look AMAZING! I'm so happy with how they turned out! I haven't really had much time driving with them yet, but I plan on spending the whole weekend cruising, rain or no rain! Here's some pics. Ya, I know my car is filthy. I just washed/waxed it last weekend, and will have to do it again soon! Tell me what you think!

I like it, I like it alot! I don't see many 2.3L cars anymore, but I have to say, yours is not the norm (you actually take care of the thin :P)

Someday...

I finally drove it again yesterday on a backroad with lots of curves and oh how fun it was! I handled so well!! And don't worry, I was careful, I love this car and wouldn't do anything that I would be sorry for later!

Speaking of Cobra wheels, I saw one company that sells 17x8 for the front and 17x9 for the rear.

I believe they were putting the same tire size on all 4 though. I would of course want the widest that would fit on/in the rear. I wonder what the tread life of a wide tire on a 17x9 would be? Anyone have this setup?

The reason I am asking, my other car has 18x11 on the back, had 315's ($366 each) and lasted 2,500 miles, then tried 295's ($215 each), lasted 2,500 miles. Now I just bought 285's ($160 each) I'll see how long they last.

I don't want to get into a change the oil, change the rear tires with the Mustang as it is a daily driver.

Thanks,

Ain't nothing like a set of Cobra R's to set off a Fox body Mustang. They always look great. Nice looking Stang.
