New Cam with stock 5.0 motor

I own a 89 LX hatchback manual transmission for the following modifications. 3.73 gears, shorty BBK headers, 2 1/2 inch off road H pipe with flowmaster mufflers, MSD ignition, upper and lower Eldelbrock Performer intake, 70mm throttlebody with spacer and cold air take, 3 core aluminum radiator, larger fuel sender (correct name leaving me :-) ),king cobra clutch, and installing new struts, shocks and 2 inch lowering springs next weekend. I can not afford the AFR 165 heads for a while but I am replacing waterpump and wondering if there is a Cam that will work with my stock heads without having to take them off and do any modifications?

stock head springs

I was just going to go with the E cam looking for just a little more performace but love the sound. I am just worried about the stock springs on the heads. Motor has about 40,000. Can not afford the AFR heads for a while with all the restoration needed that I have done. I have some leaks under the hood I am going to take care of and while replacing the waterpump I was thinking about changing out the cam but wondering if worth it untill I can afford the heads.

I have an E cam with stock heads and have no problems, a little better performance but best of all the sound, it sure is nice.
