Never ending project
Several months ago I had a thread covering my build of a 93 LX vert. It was lost when forum was hacked. So here we go again.
I bought this car about a year and a half ago pretty cheap. It was solid and complete, just tired. I decided to make a 93 Cobra convertible, since Ford never made one. The plan has changed several times, but here's where I am right now. The car is painted the oroginal Reef Blue. It's getting a black top and interior. I found a mint set of 79 Pace car seats and got material to recover the backs. For performance, it's getting a new 5.0 with ported F3ZZ GT40 heads and intake. I'm also adding an E-303 cam, large tube shorty headers and other performance stuff. I'm converting to 5 lug and putting in an 04 Cobra IRS and Cobra brakes. I'm trying to get it done for the All-Ford Nationals in Carlisle, PA in June. Anyway, here are some pics of the progress.

Fantastic project - love those phantom "what if" vehicles! That's a very uncommon color and looks beautiful. Use plenty of bracing as those Fox 'verts have the most floppy bodies known to man.

Over the last week, I made some progress. Have the front suspension mostly done and the IRS is in. Going get the brake lines and hoses done over the next week. Then on to the engine.
