Need some info plz

I have a 93 gt 5 speed. Its got a 306 with a typhoon upper and lower. I'm lookin into puttin a turbo on there for sure. But I'm curious to what ill be pushin with this. I would really like to be pushin about 450 to 500hp.... I would really really like to be able to run in the mid 7s in the 1/8 mile... Any help would be appreciated

It shouldn't take a turbo or 450-500hp to run mid 7's in the 1/8 mile

I'm not that familiar with EFI setups. I know you definatly will need better heads if you stil have the stock ones.

Does your 306 have forged internals? Plus 550hp seems to be the most the stock blocks are claimed to handle.

take a look in tech some info on block strength, etc. The stock T5 will also suffer. The hp will depend on the kit, the tune and supporting mods ie cam, heads, etc. and this is just bare info.

You might be better off going with a 351w swap if you're looking for that much power.
