Motor mount replacement recommendations...

Putting headers in the old LX vert. I replaced the stock motor mounts on the 2007 GT when I put headers in it, and am looking to do the same to the '91 LX 5.0.

Any suggestions?

I see prothanes and solid mounts. I've seen Moroso solid ones that look like a box with pegs on it, and some others that look kind of like trapezoids. Plus there's the prothanes.

Any suggestions for a weekend fun car that I want to maintain a good ride quality in. I'm leaning to wards the prothanes because I won't be making big horsepower out of this car so a tiny bit of flex would be OK. Are the stock mounts rubber or are they a solid mount?

Stock is rubber your best bet will be the prothane's solid mounts transfer too much torque to the body and make the car uncomfortable to drive

I was going to use solid mounts in my car when I built the motor but decided against them after driving a friends car he has the COMP XFI stroker cam and every little vibration from the motor transfered to the body one good thing about that was you got a killer back massage
