Just got my new dash pad

well despite all the nay sayers on her i finally ordered my new dash pad last saturday through CJ pony and i just got it today and to be honest i'm surprised at how good it actually is, no real noticable warping or distortion only problem is two triangular pieces of vinly around one of the mounting holes but a dremel or a razor will take care of that also the dash pad seems a little thicker but that not a problem

Glad you got a decent one and are happy. I've seen very few that were "acceptable" but there have been a couple. My standards for quality run pretty high but not unreasonable. It is better than nothing but for the money it should have been a nicer reproduction.

well supposivley they "new and improoved" but i don't much about that, but the only thing i can see with the pad is that it bows slightly in the middle but i'm sure it's some thing that will correct itself if not it's still an improvement

It would be great if they were actually "new and improved" but it took them well over 6 years to finally do that if it is...maybe sales slumped enough for them to go back and fix it if that is true.

looks great! much better than what I have seen and what I got for my 86Gt. It was so bad I sent it back and went with the cap instead. I hope your right Paul maybe finally they are making better quality pads for these years!!
