I believe the comp prep was a delete everything option, kind of like the cobra R of svos. but paul would have to verify that. the 4 cam car was sick, they should of made it.
it had 2 cams not 4- one for intake valves and one for exhaust valves

The Comp Prep package had the exact same engine as the regular SVO...it was basically an option delete package designed to lighten the car and the only suspension difference was the spring rates.

The Comp prep I used to own at one time was put on the scales and weighed in at 2900 lbs.

lilbossman, the anniversary car looked identical to this car except it had running horse fender emblems and a GT350 stripe on the rocker.

I talked with the owner and he is making plans to come pick up the car but he mentioned buying a house and expressed interest in selling the car so if anyone is interested just send me a note and I'll pass on his number to you.

why would a person get a car restored then sell it. there is almost no way to make profit on it unless its a high dollar car like a boss 9 or shelby or something like that.

sorry for the rant.

Some people's priorities change....that's it. Some people are also not in it for profit....this particular guy scaled back his collection from 5 to 1 car and finished it. Now he is buying a larger house and does not have time to enjoy the car so he figures it would be ashame to let it just sit so he might as well sell it to someone who has the time to enjoy it.
