just picked up a 89 LX 5.0, it needs some work, paint and some interior repair, but the engine is strong and the clutch feels good. i love the foxbody and have always regretted selling my 86 over 15 years ago

the wheels dont bother me, what wheels do you think are better? i dont care for the wing and i may get a stock hood but who knows..
i paid 3 grand for it..probably too much but with the new tranny, new wheels and stuff i figured that i can get the cosemetics done and it will be alright..

That's a good deal, awesome car man! I'm not a huge fan of the rims, but they look better than some rims i've seen on Foxes. I'd go with some weld wheels if you ditch those. Good luck fixin her up!!

nice man, and the wheels arent bad. atleast you have5 lug. and you can always get any number of different wheels! and the hood doesnt look bad, probably will look good painted. but i agree w/ getting rid of the wing. but there arent really that many wings for the hatchback that look good.

Can't wait to see it after you do a little work to it.....Sounds like the motor is strong and that's the best start you can ask for! With that hood painted it should look pretty mean! Any dyno #'s yet? LMK......Congrats!

If i were you i would just get a new differential and a set of 33 spline moser axles, because it would be stronger and you would have fixed the problem

That would def. be awsome to have your foxes match. But I do like the way it looks now (some paint would be nice) but I def. love those wheels on an lx. I think they look really good.
