Is it normal for a 2.3L auto... idle to fluctuate between 800-700 (when engine normal temp, and idling at a stop)

Car runs great and no hesitation from stop...just kinda annoying to have idle fluctuate.

ps: car has always done this since bought about a month ago...and even after having oxygen sensor and thermostat changed (was pulling these codes and getting horride fuel milage...after these changes fuel milage now great but still idle fluctuation)

Does it always do this? Or does it only do it after start up?

if cold...does not do this until warm...say driving for 5 min or so...then when warm and if stopped at light ect will do this......if car engine warm to start, then will do right away.

runs great and doesn't hesitate apon going from idle...just kinda annoying

any ideas?
