ICM bad?
Hey all,
I'm new to this thread though I have searched it many a time for answers. Lately my 86 stock 5.0 manual transmission has been dieing on me. The engine turns over but no spark. I've come across this two times over the past 12 months. Both times I've replaced the ignition control relay on the distributor. Is this really that common o a problem or am I missing something that's causing this? Any help is appreciated thanks!

I'm not sure if something is causing this or not.but are you getting these from AutoZone? On a Ford temp One time I got 3 bad icms from AutoZone in a row.it took me forever to trouble shoot this because I kept figuring that there is no way in hell that I could get that many bad brand new parts in a row.

We have a tech area in our Fox section with helpful info. Post #2 has a no start "How to".

If you suspect the new module return it to them and try another, alot of todays stuff is bad out of the box.
