I have a 88 GT 5.0. I was thinking about selling it but I just put alot of money into it and I know that I am going to loose money on it no matter what but I just want to see what someone would pay for. Im pretty sure the kellybluebook value on it is 1,500 stock.
It a 302 w/ 125,000 miles.
It has a Edelbrock RMP Intake Manifold, BBK 70mm TB, BBK 70mm EGR, BBK Cold Air Induction Kit, new gaskets all around, Jeg's Oil Pan, Mr.Gasket Power Pulleys, Ford Racing Timing Chain, Mac Long Tube Headers, MAC Prochamber H Pipe, Flowmaster American Thunder Mufflers, Rebuilt AOD, Kevlar clutches all around, 2800 stall Torque Converter, Shift Kit, energy suspension sway bar bushings and end link set, new steering column, new battery, new starter, new alt., ford racing alluminum radiator, 8.5mm taylor ignition wires, re-timed, 4:10's and auburn limited slip, had block flushed, 4' cowl hood, weld racing rims, autometer gauges, interior is decent, body is OK, paint is OK.

Thank You in advance for whoever responded. I know its a pain in the butt to read all this. How Much Would You Pay ?

If you could post up pics of it it helps in the decision of what the ball park for the car would be.

Hmmm . . . I would say between $3000-$4000 in my area . . maybe ~$2800 on the low end. But depends on the exterior (rust, etc.). You said the exterior is "OK" . . does that mean that the paint is just faded, or does the car have some common small rust areas? (Under doors, hatch area, fender area above tires)

no rust on the body. It was actually a Florida car up until 3 years ago, but I live in Jersey now so its open for rust now. It just needs paint. The paint is actually nice except for the hood and the stok gt side skirts. They have some pretty big chips in them.

I agree with Jason, I think you could still get $3-4K. Try asking $3500 and see if there are any takers.

You NEVER get out of a car what you put into it! Money wise that is!

I know and thats why I am asking people what they would pay for it... im trying to see if selling it is worth loosing all that money. From what I am hearing I think I rather unregister it and uninsure it and stick it in my garage and sell it and loose all that money...
