My first fox body. 1990. Changed fuel pump and sending unit. Gauge show full and tank is full. But when i shut car off drops to 3/4 i dont think this is normal. Should it drop to empty? And also what could be the problem? Please help!!

 

it could be the sending unit in the fuel tank or a short in the wires..
