FOX50 "Ponyboy" build

Well I bought my 91 ford Mustang LX as a fun build project 5-12-12.
I have owned just about any type of ride imagine able.. from a 93 chevy camaro, 97 mitsubishi eclipse (fully custom *riced out if you will* lol), 97 chevy tahoe (custom), 86 olds cutlass (hydraulics *FBSS*), 2000 dodge ram (bagged and body dropped), and a 91 chevy S10, but recently i decided id give Ford mustangs a shot and I really think its a decision I will NOT regret anyways lets talk about the build and how I got this car!

Well when i came across this car it was stock and over heating so the guy couldnt figure out why it was getting hot so he said $2000 and It was mine so i figure what the hell Ill take it, I get it home, and figure out the fan was blowing air out the front of grille rather then pulling it in to the engine bay.. problem solved!! pics from day 1!

front bumper was busted along with the rear but i had planned to get new ones even if they were in perfect condition but I zip tie stitched the front for now

then I figuered I need a custom hood to give it a new look, loved the look but then the back looked funny since the front looked mean but the real looked plain stock

got tierd of the stock looking rear end since the front was custom looking so Saleen spoiler was installed, had to remove stock LX spoiler and shave the holes off then make new ones for the saleen spoiler to bolt thru

Car looks great. And not a bad deal. It looks like it has a whole lot of potential.

No offense though, that body kit is horrible.

its funny, i have heard people doing that with the fan before. they think they need to push the air through the radiator. lol which you can do.... if you mount it in front.

and nice buy btw.

Yea some people dont even realize that the fan can do that, the body kit is a little ricey but i think it will grow on me, theres not much options for these cars and i wanted some thing different i didnt want it to look like a GT or a regular LX, i like to be different from the rest

so I got my tranny back agian and its still leaking tierd of messing with that shop so its going some where else soon...

when tranny is fixed and Its back into my hands for a while ive got to allign my drivers door, put new front drivers side fender on then bodykit will go on. then ill start doing billet interior and adding some red to the interior, my interior is all factory black it really dont need anything replaced except the console lid but im going to go a head and do away with some of it and add some red accents

well i got my car but I have good news and bad news...

good news first: got my mustang back and transmissionn is not leaking, also got some weld racing draglites 15x3.5 fronts and 15x8 rears

bad news: transmission is hard to put into 5th and reverse, cannot install my body kit until I get my drivers side door alligned, cannot allign my door until i get some new door hinges, and my rear bumper is cracked wasnt cracked when i took it to the tranny shop.. its fiberglass so i dont think its a hard fix
