Fox Bodies: Deadliest Mustangs?
I had to start this thread. I'm absolutely astonished at how many seemingly crap fox-bodies, stock-looking for the most part, mind you, absolutely destroy more menacing cars. I've seen countless YouTube videos of foxies racing overconfident owners cars that are supposed to be way faster, like an M3 or 911. The foxes take off at jaw-dropping speeds, loud as hell, and absolutely destroy the competition. It's almost as if souping up the living crap out of fox bodies while keeping an innocently stock appearance is some sort of trend or malicious deception that their owners practice. That's why I think they're the deadliest track mates; you never know what inferno rages beneath that hood.

TMS does not advocate street racing, or support the actions of those that street race. Not judging those that do, but as a website we won't promote it. Feel free to post about racing exploits at a sanctioned racing venue.

the fox is pretty lightweight and even more pounds can be shaved off, add some decent power and chassis and you have a winning combo every time..hp to weight ratio. I don't run a cowl hood and other than the wheels it looks like it did when she left the factory, it goes good now even better in time but there will be no flash on the outside to tell and i may even toss the idea of pony r's for the really stock look.

I can't wait to get my Notch like this. Completely stock exterior except for wheels. Five point slow my ***!

Mustangs like to keep their big wing (for sick downforce) under the hood, if you know what I mean. Especially foxes. And a lot of the foxes I see are nitrous cars so there's really no indication that they're about to dump on you. I dig it.

What a misleading topic name. So the OP meant "that kind" of deadly. Relatively light, easy to modify, ability to accommodate larger motors, and good aftermarket support are what makes the Fox Mustang so awesome.
As far as sleepers go, hard to beat a Fox with a turbo (or two) - easily able to make factory block destroying HP on an otherwise stock car even with the tune spot-on.

Yeah... perfect sleepers. That particular one would be awesome for hustling. I'm sure anybody with a 2010 Camaro SS would gladly race on a wager against that car, only to cry themselves to sleep that night.
