Im in the process of revamping the car completely and welcome HP predictions and thoughts. Im looking down the road at a 9lb Supercharger with 30Lbs injectors. I want to stay smog legal and possibly achieve 500 Hp or close to it. So what do you think?
The car 91 LX
Block: Coast High Performance 347 E (Emmisions Legal)
Cam: Elgin Int.491 Duration 212 Lobe Sep 112
Exh.509 Duration 222
Intake: GT 40
Heads: AFR 185's
24Lb Injectors
70mm Throttle body
T-56 with 3.55's out back

That should not be a hard task. If you wanted to, with a h/c/i swap you could produce that power. You will need to go with 30lb injectors also w/ an upgraded fuel pump. Also, with a setup like that I would have someone custom grind you a blower cam. It will be well worth the extra small amount of money. Also, the manifold will work fine but IMO I would either get a better manifold of port/polish the GT40.

definitely dont stick a gt40 intake on there. It is just gonna choke out the 185's. Dont get me wrong the gt40 intakes are a decent cheap upgrade when wanting a few extra hp, but as far as intake upgrades go they are pretty bottom of the barrel.

Also, unless it is going to be a daily driver and mileage is a huge concern, I wouldnt speng the extra money on a t-56 setup. I would just go with a nice tremec, one of the older 3550's if you can find one.
