E7 heads on stock E6 block

Hey guys just joined the forum. I've been on here a lot but finally decided to join.
So my question is, will stock E7 heads have any issues being placed on a stock e6 block with the flat top pistons. I have read there might be PTV clearance issues but I have also heard of people that have done the swap. I will be keeping the stock e6 cam. I am trying to freshen up my old tired engine while I build a stroker to go in down the road. I have a set of the e7 heads just laying around in my garage, I was also planning on doing a mild port job. Mostly just want to take off the exhaust emission nipples in the exhaust ports.
