Door Hing Pins Fox Mustang
Just finished putting a new pin in the left door, top pin. I used two steel putty knives to protect the paint, One on the door front face and one in the area where the blade banged into door. I taped on the putty knives with duct tape and taped over the door panel area where the saw might hit it. I made a cradle with a 2 x 4 about 15 inches long and put a notch lengthwise in it to fit the bottom edge of the door. I used a floor jack to support the door. I used a sawsall with a 5 inch blade to cut the pin, drove out the two halves, lowered the door, knocked out the bushings and then put new bushings in and put the new pin in from the bottom and secured it with a kotter pin on top. If you use a sawsall get a carbide blade because I used up 3 metal cutting blades on the hardened pin. It took a bit of doing but it all lined up and my door is nice and tight now.

That is excellent info! The passenger door on my Fox has been starting to sag over the past year or so. I was wondering how other people had replaced the hinges.
Anyone else have any input or comments on doing this?
