Diamond in the rough....

I just picked up this baby, a 93 LX 5.0. It's got 120,000 miles on it and needs a paint job and interior, but has been adult owned it's whole life. Plus, I got it pretty cheap. It's rust free and has never been hit. It drives more solidly than my 7up car that only has 60,000 miles on it. This one gets the restomod treatment. I going to put the Cervini 93 Cobra kit on it and put the TMI Mach 1 style seat covers on. The engine runs great. It's had synthetic in it all of it's life, so I'm going to leave it alone right now. Probably going to install 3.73's and a shift kit at some point. I'll replace the normal suspension stuff, brake stuff and add frame connectors. It should be a nice cruiser when it's done.

Nice ride. I'm going the route with mine right now. Just waiting to have it painted and I'll be through.

love the projects! i have seen a few verts done with the cobra body kit but i always thought it would look best without the spoiler or luggage rack. i have thought of doing a mild vert before but then i realized, i can not leave anything mild..lol..

do a build up thread and show us lots of pictures!!
