Composite or Composition gaskets?

Was looking at the different head gaskets and was wondering which was better, the composition or composite gaskets? They also have the steel and perm-torque gaskets too.

Best head gaskets I've ever used were SCE solid copper gaskets

The cometic layered type gaskets are good if that kind you want.
