Clear tail light issue revisited
Many mods seem to over look laws or statutes placed on vehicles during mid 60's on tail lights.
Specifly Red and Amber REFLECTORS.
I think I have found a way to keep the clear tail lights tho.
I'll attach photos to get some opinions.

Way too many reflectors. Looks horrible...like a rescue vehicle or something. I'd lose all reflectors and get some original LX or GT tails.
Now, just to prevent any bad feelings, please remember John, that is just my 'opinion' and it's NOT intended to be taken to heart. You asked for opinions and I was simply honest.
Other than the reflectors, you have a fine collection of 'stangs man!
And it's good to see others respecting and representing the 2.3's!

I'll throw my two cents in too. The clear taillights were cool then there werent too many out there. Now every wanna-be gangster in his little Honda Civic has those lights on their car, so im gonna go with Jason and say get some stock lights back on there or some GT cheese graters if you want it to be different. Just my opinion.
The GT wheels look good on a white LX though, good call.

Well I am going to have to agree they are a tad over bearing.
But the thing I am trying to achieve is to come in this side of the law as far as reflectors go. Here's a look at the front.
Obviously The first has NO reflectors
The second does but are the wrong color.
The third are 100% DOT Approved
From what I have read other car owners are looking at the same dilemma.
Since it is NOT a daily driver I am not to concerned about tickets.
Though I don't mind pushing the envelope a little in the name of showmanship.

daytime look 4 Valentino
And to everyone else thanks for the imput.
Of course even Columbus was laughed at once.
I am thinking of using the reflective material to make the the Mustang letters to go the the indention of the bumper.
They would be less intrusive but, still may keep well read statute officers off my tail. and come just this side of the law

 Holy crap, those white reflectors on the front look amazing!
I gotta look at getting some of those. Do you need a whole new headlight for that or can you just get reflectors? And how much $$$?

Be aware since there is NO amber in them they may NOT be legal.
I guess it just depends.
I would think as long as there is some amber reflector near the white ones. Than the issue may slide more easily. But obviously a white reflector is better than none at all. IMO
winkcm95 I am thinking of using the tape on a much lesser level.
Maybe for the letters MUSTANG in the rear bumper
Red in the back and maybe white in front.
Have not really decided.
Gotta get it cleaned up for the Saturday car show for now tho
