but i had an 88 w t-tops. when i went to trade it in on another car they didnt believe they were factory installed... luckily i still had the ford removal instructions in the glove box.

They made approximately 2500 '88 T-tops....a VERY rare car since it was the last year of production for them.

2500 t-tops for 88 thats the first numbers ihave seen it must be close to that for all years i would like to know what company did the conversionfor ford any way thanks for the info

All the Mustang T-top conversions were performed by Cars & Concepts for Ford and their dealers.

for 86 i think they made like 1500 w/ t-tops. i know in 85 they made like 800. my sister has an 85Gt and she found them somewhere ill ask her and see if she remembers the site

Sorta OT - but for '86 Capri 5.0 they made ~3300. Only ~500 where produced without T-tops, or Sunroof. I've owned 2 hard tops, and 1 with sunroof.

I was gonna buy an 86 GT w/ T-tops from a friend of mine. He used to drag it the car was sick It had a 351W in it let me just say fast isn't the word. The day b-4 i was gonna pick it up he put a rod through the block doing burnouts in front of his house. :cry:

definitely more than 800/1500 for 85/86, t-tops on these years are FAR more common than the 88, as 88's were only produced thru first part of the year.
