buying a strut tower brace...suggestions?

I am looking to buy a strut tower brace for my fox, and I didn't know what brand was the easiest to install...I know BBK says there is no modifications needed to be done, just bolt-in...If that's the case then I will go with that, but I didn't know if anyone had some input....thanks!

PS- There isn't anything obstructive in my engine compartment, either...the upper intake manifold on my motor is the FRPP Cobra intake...which is the really the highest point in my engine compartment

The best one out there, IMO is Maximum Motorsports, yes you have to drill a littlebut it uses very strong areas such as the pinch welds on the firewall and not the firewall itself. They are the best for our Foxes and I have them on both my vert and HB...

thanks for the suggestion...I looked up the instructions online for the BBK one and you have to drill holes for that one too, so the BBK one poses no advantages at all over the Maximum Motorsports one..

I really like the MM brace it uses the pinch welds on the firewall very strong!! No drilling on the firewall just bolt them to the weld wholes and on the shock towers it a very simple process..

oh, well thats awesome...I thought I might have to drill into the firewall, so at least I won't have to do that...what size bit did you use to drill the holes on the strut towers?

just ordered!! thanks for the advance you guys!

I actually ended up ordering the kit with the strut brace, k member brace and subframe connectors...I was eventually going to buy the subrame connectors soon so I decided to do all three.

I have really been wanting to order subframe connectors because my buddy who has a '92 hatch got a set that he welded in during the summer and after taking a spin in it I could tell the difference in the handling characteristics versus my car.

The strut tower brace alone will enhance your Fox but all of those will really make her handle great!!

+1. I saw one installed on a Fox that was involved in a severe front impact that fubar'd the front end - ripped the front bumper mount off the chassis and folded the passenger side fender on itself. The damage stopped right at the shock towers where the MM STB was installed. IMO, that helped prevent the vehicle from completely folding in the front. It also had some spindly-looking subframe connectors (compared to the MM stuff) but even then, when jacking that car up trying to remove parts, they showed what a huge improvement it made to chassis rigidity. Lift one side, and the whole car rose up unlike the usual chassis twist associated with the Fox/SNs.
