Back Together Again!

Well, if any of you remember, I had a project last year for my car including an S-Trim, 42# injectors etc and finished it last year around October-November--didn't give me much time to enjoy it here in Michigan. Near March/April of this year I had a string of problems, the had the crank break because of something stupid i did.

Well, fast forward to now. I just got finished rebuilding the engine and adding some other goodies. New suspension, wheels, tires, etc are also being installed. I will have pics soon.

Here's a clip.

That was the first start up. I built the engine fom the bare block up so it was burning off the bit of oil on the pistons from the install. Plus it has shorties and the rest of the exhaust wasn't on

Well, the first day I got everything done it caught fire and toasted all the wiring. It's in the process of another rebuild. I've already gotten the car apart and media blasted now it's at the painter.

Sorry to hear about your car and the fire. Sounded nice and nasty though - hope you get it up and running again soon.

Listen up guys, this man is an inspiration. He no more than finished his car and it catches fire....I do not detect any harshness in his words nor disappointment, you sir sound to me like a true car enthusiast! He bounces right back and gives it another go.

Thanks, I was pretty down the day it happened, but I couldn't let it keep me down.

Nice paint! Hope the quarter window trim was masked off. Makes me wish I could get mine repainted soon!

Okay, so if that's Twilight Blue, what color is my car? It looks much darker than that - yes, it's a (faded) factory color... The closest match that comes to mind is a metallic "Le Mans Blue" like my cousin's '07 C6 coupe.

Your car looks awesome. What size motor are you running and what cam is that? It sounds a bit lumpy.
