AOD inspection plate bolts

Anyone know offhand what the size(s) are for the bolts that hold the inspection plate for the AOD. I finally scored one (they seem pretty hard to come by) and realized I have no way of putting it on my 88 LX. Thanks ahead of time!

Those aren't hard to come by....all you had to do was ask....I've got probably at least 20 or 30 of those. They are short bolts and depending on year could be metric or standard. The head(where you put the wrench) I believe is either 1/2" or 13mm which would make the threaded portion 5/16" or 8mm.....I'm pretty sure about this but I've done so many that I don't even think about size anymore.

The inspection plates? Really? I almost never see them for sale on ebay or any of the fox resto shops. Thats why I snatched one up as soon as I saw it for sale.
Thanks for the tip on the bolts.

Thanks for the tip on the bolts.

That's one of the problems is that people seem to just look at Ebay and never ask vendors for something. For me it's really not worth my time to go through the trouble to list it on ebay for what it is...unless I were to have spare time which I never have. Ebay is not the end all place to get parts....just try asking vendors and you might be surprised at what they have. I have a building full of parts, back lot full of cars and 2 40' containers full of used parts but I don't have time to list them on ebay or on my website. Ebay for me is like a garage sale most of the time if/when I list something and the last place something goes before going in the dumpster because I am tired of tripping over it.
