I'm in the market. How much should be expected for the bottom of the line with still a decent drivetrain and suspension tidbits? I'm really looking for a car to drive then eventually use as a donor for an FFR 65 Coupe. So anyway, I'm just looking for a good price on a good donor. Has to be a V8 though.

Thanks for help in advance

That is much too nice to chop to peices though.

Your car is something prestine, which is not what I'm looking for. I just need a car that has a good running engine/electrics and decent suspension parts. Other than that it's all bonus for the meantime between now and when I can afford the kit to build the Daytona. Thanks for the pricing though! Now I know that I should expect it to be a lot less than 4.8k.

You can probbably pick up a LX hatch for under $2500, possibly under $2000. I know where a '91 4cyl coupe is for under $1500 and it runs good.

It's not a v8 (2.3L 4cyl/auto) but I picked this '90 LX vert up for my daughter two days before getting the '89 GT. Gave under $3000 for it and it has less than 53,000 original miles.

if youre just looking for general pricing then go on ebay and search the car and click the "show only buy it now items" and it should give you a pretty good idea.

So I'm thinking 2k-3k is about the norm for a running coupe. Thanks for the help guys, I appreciate it.
Now for question #2, anything I should pay attention to while checking out the car?
