88 GT- Friend's Fox, just got it going
It is a 88 GT, he got it in 1992 when he was 18 and has had it ever since, well he parked it in 2000 and just got it going again with a relocated battery, aluminum radiator, and the welds with MT DRs, its got a ton of **** done to it, mainly edelbrock heads, cobra intake, shorty headers, offroad H, flowmaster cb, msd ignition, Tremec-3550 weld draglites with MT DRs and skinnies which hes hoping to swap out the skinnies for some 205s because it corners like **** on the street, he deleted the ac, its going to get the tint peeled and some new paint pretty soon, plus maybe a cowl hood, anyways, its a badass car, he raced a C5 with it and they were side by side in first and when he shifted to 2nd, he pulled on it, but the C5 didn't leave his back qaurter panel, and then he went to third and they stayed like that and at 110 he lifted but he couldn't slow down in time on a city street and blew through the first red light and stopped in time for the second one (30mph speed limit :kaboom haha, anyways the vette guy was like "You're ****ing crazy man, that was a stoplight! hes like "dude i dont have 4 wheel disc, hell i still have drums out back, this aint no corvette!" lol and then he was crusing and a guy on a harley goosed the throttle right next to his ear and it pissed him off, so he whailed on it a bit to get away from him, and then at the light the harley guy revved it a bit, so off the line Jason goes WOT and in first they're side by side, but in 2nd he just ****ing thrashed him and kept going through third, at the top of third he lifted and at the next light the harley guys like "**** yeah!!!" throwing his hand up and Jason's like "bah...****in ******" and i cracked up lmao! Then the first day he had it out since hes fixed it up, a WRX STI was ****ing with him and hes like wtf? oh yeah? so they gunned it at the same time after they got lined up and he looked back at 130 and he was ****ing goooone! haha anyways here are
EDIT- I forgot to add that he had everything all Extrude Honed by Steeda Autosport!
EDIT 2- I forgot 255lph fuel pump, e303 cam, 75mm mass air sensor, 30lb injectors, 70mm throttlebody, centerforce dualfriction clutch, steeda tri-ax shifter, msd 6al ignition

The headline of the local newspaper in your town will say "Two joy-riders in Mustang murdered after calling biker who complimented their car a ******"
That was such a rational response...

Ha ha. Way to go. I would have swerved in front of that biker idiot. Raced a crotch rocket wanna be the other day. It said 650 on the side and I blew him away. My passenger was rather amazed (1st time in stang).
I have a bike myself but I only cruise, the stang is where my heart lies.

Yea, thats a bit weird to me too. Im not against street racing, but when youre blowing stop signs its not cool. And speeding that much in what was probably a residential area where anything could pop out at you isnt the greatest idea.
And i realize it wasnt you driving, but that guy shoulda known a fox takes a while to stop from 110mph. especially one riding on skinnies up front.
No offense to you, but your friend whos apparently in his 30s seems like a bit of a f*cktard.
Wait till one of your friends dies in a car accident. That kinda sh*t gets to be a little less cool.

yeah, a 30+ year old guy that carts around little kids while they yell '******' at motorists sounds like a real mature member of society. he gives responsible stang owners a bad rep.

I'm sorry you don't like his driving habits, I can't change that. But their is one mis-conception, I wasn't riding with him, he just told me the stories, I should of cleared that up earlier.

Nice car! But, like most of the above posts say, your friend is an immature idiot.....what's also sad is you think he's funny.

so with all these 'jet racing' and 'oh so fast' comments, what exactly are you guys making fun of? the car? the owner? me? all of the above? i don't really understand why you'd be busting on a built 5.0 mustang, but none the less....

I do believe I am sensing a little hostility on this thread. Now sit down boys and play nice.
No I wouldnt. I ride a bike myself. It can be very scary at times (only have a permit) and I respect everybody on the road. Well maybe not Civic owners but certainly everybody else. Oh and old people, dont respect them either. If you are too old to realise where the road turns or too old to read your speedo then you should not be behind the wheel of a car. I think that 95% of near misses I've encountered have been old people 'getting confused'.
If you disagree with me then so be it, its only my opinion.
